Default FS: '93 ZR-1 Polo Green/Tan, 19k miles

Car is currently listed on Ebay in a NO RESERVE auction. Item # 110442810795.

1993 Corvette ZR1 #0057. Polo Green II with beige leather interior. Power driver’s seat, Delco/Bose stereo with CD, auto climate control, traction control, antilock brakes, airbag, rear defrost and heated mirrors. Goodyear GSC tires with less than 1,000 miles. 40th anniversary logo embroidered in both seat headrests. 405 horsepower engine.

1 of only 21 1993 ZR-1’s painted Polo Green II metallic. Very rare. You won’t find another like it.

Two owner car. Maintained by a Vette fanatic. Applied Liquid Glass wax every 6 months. Flushed antifreeze every 2 years. Flushed the brake fluid twice. Changed oil/filter every 3,000 miles, always using Mobil 1 synthetic 10W30. I know the car inside and out. No guesswork or surprises.

I have owned the car since May 21, 1999. I bought it from the original owner in Florida when it had 8,004 miles. Today it has 19,782 miles. I’ve only driven it in the rain once. Otherwise, it only comes out on sunny days, and spends the rest of the time in a garage under a flannel-lined car cover, connected to a Battery Tender.

Never smoked in. Never raced. Entire interior is factory fresh. Cigarette lighter never used. Carpets spotless. Original owners kit in mint condition. Original window sticker laminated. No stains or discoloration on the intake manifold – looks as it should. Entire under-hood area is spotless. This is an exceptionally clearn car. I was the wheel wells every time I wash the car. They too are spotless.

100% original paint. Never any body work or paint work, everything appears exactly as from factory. The only modifications from 100% original are: (1) OEM 5-spoke ZR-1 wheels from 1995 ZR-1, and (2) custom Haibeck chip that trips the fans on sooner to keep the operating temperature cooler, provides 10 more horsepower, etc. For more info on the Haibeck chip, go to: http://www.zr1specialist.com/HAT%20W...on%20BMCBG.htm.

Runs perfectly and strong. Paint is flawless with exception of a few minor 1-2 millimeter rock chips on front bumper and hood. Glass is perfect, with about 5-10 millimeters of windshield delamination only in the corners, as pretty much all ZR-1s have as they get older.

New AC Delco battery, low mile Eagle GSC tires (about 1,000 miles), new Bosch triple-tip platinum spark plugs. Car has been impeccably maintained and preserved. Comes with California Car Cover.

There are a number of things that set the 1993 Corvette ZR-1 apart and make it unique from other year ZR-1's. It was the first year of the horsepower increase (up from 375 in 1992, to 405 in 1993). It was the first year of the 4 bolt main engine (1992 and earlier models had 2 bolt main engines.) It has the passive keyless entry system, with the "pass key" anti-theft system. It has both analog and digital gauges (earlier years had only analog gauges). It has fully electronic A/C. And it has absolutely superb, adjustable side bolsters on both seats that grip driver and passenger laterally better than the seats in 1994 and 1995 ZR-1 models. Delco/Bose Gold Series sterio with both CD and cassette. Each speaker has it's own amp, for fantastic sound.

Comes with EXTENSIVE paperwork, to include:

* A copy of the “Chevrolet Central Office Vehicle Invoice”
* Original window sticker (laminated, perfect condition)
* Original sales brochure (mint condition, still in envelope)
* Paperwork for minor work done under warranty in 1996
* GM Protection Plan Coverage Agreement
* Sales contract
* Mint, original owners kit/manual

Car is located in Omaha, Nebraska.

H&H Corvette of Florida facilitated the transaction in 1999 between myself and the original owner/seller. They know this car very well, and therefore can act as a reference, if necessary. Serious buyers only, contact J.C. at 407-834-8532. Their web site: hnhcorvette.com.

This is an exceptionally clean, well-maintained car that runs very strong and belongs with a serious Corvette collector.

Thank you.

Thanks guys! Thought I had it sold, but the high bidder ended up having financial issues. Argh!

I've reduced the price to $31,000. Anyone interested, give me a call at (847) 477-9262. Thanks!

Yes, good point. I did make him a 2nd chance offer. So far I haven't heard anything, but there are still about 12 hours to go!

Relisted on Ebay one last time. I've got a Buy It Now price of $29,750 to hopefully stimulate a quick sale before I change my mind. Otherwise, I'll just wait until Spring. Thanks!

I'm a little curious how you handled the winning bidder not completing the sale since it technically is a legal contract.

Seems like this happens quit often on that site.

Thanks guys! Sold for $29,750 to a happy new owner in Texas! I'm sure gonna miss this beautiful car. But I know the new owner will drive it more than I have the last few years, so it will be in a good new home.
