L98 will NOT fit. LT5 has 8 bolts, L98 has 6.

I have a used LT5 DM flywheel, but it's got over 100K on it.

I have one that I replaced with an aluminum Fidanza. Send me a private message with an offer if you are interested.

I just received a new DM flywheel and pressure plate. The pressure plate came from Carolina Clutch and has 6 bolts to the flywheel. The flywheel I bought from a club member and also has 6 bolts to mate the flywheel to the pressure plate. In an earlier post above VetteMed said the LT-5 DM flywheel is supposed to have 8 bots and a L98 DM flywheel only has 6.

Can anyone tell me if I have the wrong parts?

Look at the enclosed cardboard box the flywheel was inside of. It has the part number on it. Check and see if the part number is also on the flywheel. I don't have that number recorded here but somebody here on the forum should be able to tell you if it is the correct part number. Or, you should be able to look it up and confirm.

I am looking at my camera phone picture and it looks like the number is... #10124481 I am not positive on that number because it is hard to see in the picture I have.

Glad to hear you recieved the flywheel. Was their any damage to the wooden crate? Is the flywheel in perfect new condition as stated?

Damn Scott...

Wish you filled out your profile or signed your name on this post!

Pretty sure Jim has a spare flywheel FYI

Do you need a T/O bearing only or the flywheel/clutch/T/O?
