That sounds like a sales ploy if I ever heard one.

Wish I could afford to buy it!

Great thanks! How did you know I own a truck? (2007 GMC Sierra with the 6.0L).

BTW, my truck can probably outrun most stock C4's.

LS3's were never used in any trucks. My LS3 is no more a truck engine than the 5.7's were.

You should really bring it to the Corvette Challenge Shootout drag races nest Fall. Just south of Chicago. You could run against some of the slow C4's there.

Talk you out of buying a ZR-1?
Well, If you insist!

Do not buy a ZR-1 for yourself.

Buy me the white over red one that Rick has on the forum instead.
No need to deliver it , I'll pick it up.

Oh and the millions you won on the lottery? No worry; Send that to me too?
Lastly.
That ride in the ZR-1 and dinner you promised Taylor Swift...... I'll cover that for you as well, seeing as how you just hate anything fun.

There. My work here is done.

Well you have a good sense of humor AND a Red Vette.

You never answered my question

Whatcha done to your LS3?

Consider racing an LT-5 with engine stock block?

Nothing, it's stock...only mod is a K&N filter and a custom tune.

I'd race any stock C4.

Even the ZR1:

1992 Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1 0-60 mph 5.5 Quarter mile 13.7

1993 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe ZR1 0-60 mph 4.8 Quarter mile 12.7

1993 Chevrolet Corvette LT1 0-60 mph 5.2 Quarter mile 13.9

1993 Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1 0-60 mph 5.1 Quarter mile 13.4

1993 Callaway CR-1 Corvette Supercar 0-60 mph 4.9 Quarter Mile 13.1

1994 Chevrolet Corvette LT1(Auto) 0-60 mph 5.4 Quarter mile 13.9

1994 Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1 0-60 mph 4.6 Quarter mile 12.9

1995 Chevrolet Corvette LT1 0-60 mph 5.1 Quarter mile 13.5

1995 Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1 0-60 mph 4.8 Quarter mile 12.9

Not one of them above can even match a base C6.

Is 1badls3 a typical c6 person? Kinda have had very different impression of the ZR-1 owners so far...a very good one, I might add. Do you have to listen to this stuff often?

Tuned it's kind of a different discussion isn't it, or could be?

I'm not comfortable with that kind of uninvited aggressiveness...there's plenty of that in life without having to put up with it here seems to me.

Just my two cents but I hope we don't get that a lot especially since no one here challenged anyone.

No, don't let it bug you.
Likely all in good fun.
They sometimes get a bit competitive.
By the way, you know NCRS implies 100% stock right?
And the Ruby ZR-1 is Top Flight so that would make me real, real stock right?
Or stock enough at the very least.
Motor's never been out of the car since Bowling Green put it in there.
11.87 ET 121 MPH
I guess then that Ruby would display some tailights to many, but certainly not all C5's or C6's.
Not bad for 20 year old technology.
So I don't get all too excited about such talk, nor should you.
I love C'4s.....and 3's,2's,1's,4's,5's,6's and I am sure 7's,8's and 9's too!
Happy New Year to all!
