Still needed to put the final touch on the car which was the Chemical guys Celeste Dettagglio carnauba paste wax. They moved the car over to its position around the outer edge.

Hood up

Bum shot

After removing the wax. I left around 430am that morning :/ work at 8.. grabbed a coffee put it in a thermos so I could drink some asap when I woke up lol!

Lighting extremely bright. Maybe too bright.. depending on what you focus on with a camera the blue will change from a quasar like blue to a dark deep blue. With the hood open the lighting is perfect for the LT5 so happy about that.

Haven't taken too many pics at the event while crowds were around but have been talking to so many people and letting people and kids get inside. It's been absolutely fantastic the response has been incredible. I get some requests to put the hood down for photos but the double takes from
Some people as they walk by and See the motor are priceless lol.

thanks guys ! It definitely gets a lot of attention people are loving it. It's pretty cool meeting so many people who know about the z and remember them. Have been letting a lot of people sit inside and they can't believe how awesome it is inside a c4.

Feel guilty taking pics but I did snap a few.. I liked this one ended up chatting with the guys about the wheels and motor etc

Filming for an episode on legendary motor car

Loved the attention to detail. Asked if I waxed my calipers so I said yes of course!

Then not so bright side !

Crowds loved the car. There was an f40 two cars over, an Eleanor replica amongst others. I don't need to say which car got the most crowds all week

Not so busy days .. there were always a few ..

I think it was downright hilarious .. that people would recognize that it was a ZR-1 .. almost walk past it and then see the motor and then stop and walk back towards the LT5 lol !

Thanks !! I ended up talking about all the details I thought it would have been nice to show in pictures some of the details inside and out. People definitely liked them ! I figured it was more interactive as well for the crowds and it definitely was.

LMC just asked me for videos and pictures of the build etc so Id assume they are still in the editing phase. I couldn't recall from all the talk but I think near the end of this season it will air.. I will definitely post up when it does !. I have to say I was a tad nervous and probably didn't go into as much detail as I should have. They asked me to be brief and I tried to keep it short and then I saw the next car owner go on for 10 mins

Sorry but no updates at all I was trying to avoid just bumping the thread without having anything new to add All ive done so far this year is take the cover off... and I may put it back on for a little while longer Just haven't had the time to do anything on it. Sitting at work now on a 12 hr shift and they just asked me to work sunday too ... there goes another weekend Ive been stuck contemplating parting out my 93 or finishing it. ive had a little interest in the motor and the trans and various parts.
With regards to the roof brace Im going to try pulling it off I need to do a little cutting and trimming, and then have some bits welded and then I will polish it. Ive thought of another idea that is more of a T bar than x brace which would require very little cutting of the roof frame and surrounding trim. I believe that's the route I will go if I persure trying to mass produce these.

Ordered Lingenfelter Walbro fuel pumps so I will pull the Densos out and replace them. Ill do the filter again as well. Ive been in contact with Matic about making a twin disc clutch setup for the Z and I am wondering if I should just go with the Mcleod setup Jerry sells or for now just get a centerforce kit designed to work with the Fidanza flywheel I already have and send all the measurements to Mantic and let them take their time with it so I can get the car on the road. Besides that I custom ordered 3 piece forged wheels for my Mustang. Not really relevant lol but its going to turn a few heads im sure

Hope to post more updates soon !!!
