Nothing speaks with authority like firsthand expirence.
Which lifter are you planning to use with your 433 CID build?

We did read the chip:

Rev limiter was set at 7'550 rpm, idling 1'000 rpm.
Spark advance 27 degrees.
Primary cooling fan turn on at 194 Fahrenheit, secondary at 198 Fahrenheit.

It need some adjustments.

Yes I did open the intake as much as possible. In the plenum I went with the maximum possible port size and narrowed in the IH's and ported a velocity acceleration section in the heads.

Curious because the porting is so smooth and clean:
Do you port by hand or use a mill?

The same as modified Cosworth engines are using. I have some sets in stock.

With less yellow colour the engine doesn't look bad too.

Awesome

My thoughts on the pcv breathers... are that imo its better to just run them with catch cans because of the effect on the oil. Curious as well as to why youre choosing to run them?

Also are you keeping the secondaries? I think earlier you said you were sorry if I already asked.

Thank you.
I use a mill and do the finish by hand with sanding rolls.

Nice work Sam. Did you think about removing those secondaries?

Hello Rich
They do a necessary job. Why should I remove?

Sam,
I removed the secondaries on my 380 build and the difference in throttle response is very noticeable. Also, just to eliminate the very problematic vacuum system is a big plus to me.

with the big inch engines there isn't an issue with the small loss in low end torq and you get a small but noticeable bump in the mid range and the opportunity to port the secondary a bit more to pick up a bit on top end.

keeps the secondary injector cleaner and ready for action

haibeck set mine up and I notice the car picks up much cleaner at the hit of the throttle than it did before. mostly the tune

car picked up a measily 8 ft lbs torq and 5 hp on the same dyno so according to haibeck the real opportunity is porting more

the secondary blades cost a few cfm even when open but it's really not much
