I'm in no position to buy, only thing I have worth that kind of money is my student loans lol (210k). Seriously though, I know it's a "if you have to ask how much, then...", but those of us that can't afford it would still like to know what it's worth.

Burning Brakes
It's that it has to go to someone who:
1) Realizes what it is and understands it's history.
2) Wants this kind of car
3) Has the $$
4) Has the room & an understanding wife

Was for sale in Hemmings in 1996, bought by a friend of mine and he needed to build a building and called me as I had expressed interest in it if he was not going to show it.

Very special car! This has to be one of the most collectible ZR1’s in existence. Anyone know of any ZR1 that would be more collectible than this one? The only way the value of this car will be known is the next time the KOH is traded from one curator/owner to the next lucky owner. The car will be worth what every those two parties agree to. The unfortunate thing for most of us is we will never know. This car will not go to auction, so the true value will be a hidden Corvette Secret. Hopefully this car will be preserved.

I believe that the Corvette Forum requires a price for vehicles offered for sale. Normally, the CF doesn't allow ads in the discussion sections, but they did make an expection for the ZR-1 given the small number of cars likely affected. Still, that doesn't obviate the need to add the price to the ad.

For all I know I'm in the market for this car as I'm looking for a c4 and I appreciate the history likely more than 99% of people even here. I'm not bothering as I have no clue were the dude is at.
If the OP wants a response then post a price. Otherwise don't bitch about it.

Le Mans Master
I don't believe he's "bitching" about anything. PM him if you think you can afford it. There are only two in existence. The other would be near the $500k mark. Guess what his is worth.
