Default LT5 fast idle after start

My sons 92' has a higher idle than normal when started it is in the 1500-1800 range. I have replaced some of the old vacuum hose's and this has not helped. some times after a short drive it is back to normal. Any help would be appreciated he is heading home for a bot after deployment (Army) and trying to get it all set-up for a road trip.

thanks wro87

Somtimes the MAP sensor hose gets blown off at start and will cause a high idle. Its located at the back side of the plenum between the firewall and the underside of a bracket attached to the back of the plenum. A hose connects to it.

If thats not it. a hose under the plenum came loose that will require a plenum pull. D

Throttle body blades can also stick and cause high idle. I had Haibeck rebuild mine.
