Default 1995 Purple ZR1 #260 On Its Way!!

Loaded on its enclosed trailor tonight in Florida and will be coming to its Winter home in ST. George ,Utah this Sunday!!! Much thanks to its caretaker for the last 9 years Mr. Mike Taylor who was a pleasure to do business with and a real nice guy to boot. I will post some pics when it arrives and will be asking lots of questions of the brain trust on this forum. I also want to give a shout -out to Brad(Z06 Scentair) who helped in the decision making process. Kevin

Congrats! Didn't realize you were in St George. In Vegas now--would love to see it.

Kevin,

Glad you pulled the trigger on this car. Wishing you the very best with it. No doubt it's everything you want.

You should let Ted check the car out he knows them very well.
You got a beautiful rare car.

I talked to Mr. Taylor several times about the car.....I can't imagine it is not everything you hoped for and more.

I wanted that Z. Located in my back yard. If you had backed away, woulda' been mine.

I'm a little upset.

Whatever

Ray,
Coulda,shouda,wooda...Like I stated before this car was on the Net Registry since July so when I wrote Mr. Taylor I thought for sure it was gone. Mike even told me he got a bunch of calls but most could not get financing for it.
I will sell for 50K,lol

I'm excited for your new arrival. If it's nice here tomorrow, I may take mine out for its 1.3 mile drive and put it back up, in your honor of course.

Thats funny but seriously are you now trying to keep the miles low;do you show it?

I live in a large sub division. I take one lap around and it's 1.3 miles from driveway to driveway and then back in the garage. Yep, I let things warm up to operating temp prior to driving. (some will bring that question to light)

Nope, I don't show it. It just sits underneath the car cover with the battery tender. I will never hit 10k miles on this particular car.

I have other cars to drive.

1.3 miles with whatever warmup time will not get everything properly up to temperature and lubricated. Properly taking care of the mechanicals will require at least 12-15 miles of mixed high speed driving with at least 5 miles of that at highway speeds.
