If something is to good to be true, it likely is

$12,900 is way too low for this car

It's got a salvage title, serious issues or bogus sale

The market is soft but not this soft

Buyer be careful!

If not a misprint, that'd be a darn good price ...

My wife and I were just on a trip to Iowa and stopped at this "classic car" dealer. He had a similar 90 ZR-1 marked at $22.9

Maybe I'm missing it but where did you see it's salvage?
But if so, yes I'd pass on it. So much for being a time capsule

I see something really wrong with it @ a $12,900 price, low miles and looks "too good to be true".

Second gear is going out.......so transmission needs to be rebuilt.

And......air hose (3/4 inch ID) from air induction to Air Cleaner is missing (which two GOODYEAR Part # 63924 heater hoses will fix)

Now if that was beige interior

The price is sooo close to $13K and I have bought a couple recently for $14K in no need of transmission rebuilding. Engines are perfect with great compression

I say the price is reasonable. I am just surprised being sold at a dealer/autogallery the price is not a bit higher

Cliff for that price you could convert it to a saddle interior.....just a thought.

I have extra transmissions and can switch them in less than a day.......saddle interior switch much more difficult for a guy that knows only wrenches.

The transmission removal/switch/rebuild is a non starter for most guys

I am tempted
I wonder if they receive calls on Sunday

Why does a low price turn into to good to be true or it must have this wrong or that.

Come on I'll be sure to call and tell them to ask more for it!

The car sold this weekend according to the owner of the dealer.

Car had transmission issues as stated above by Cliff, and other items that needed attended to. Hence why the price had been lowered to $12,900. He needed to move the car for other inventory.

That story sounds about right.

Replace injectors, coils, transmission, possibly clutch, and labor. 5k later you have yourself a nice car at $17,900. Given the mileage that's about right for a driver quality car!
