Default ZR-1 strokers on flea bay

3 stroker LT5s on the bay

Bob Arnolds car 39k but it has the original LT5 with, so i't more like 29k if you can fetch a decent price for the stock engine. lots of miles, but a nice car

an LPE / Callaway aerobody car (hmmm.... could this be Phil's car?? looks similar but different wheels maybe? and it's NY not FLA)

another white car, with a 385 (doesn't say who built it), good price too!! but not much details about the build

anyone know these cars?

Both the red & white cars were Phils.

Not the first time I've been wrong. I always had it in my head that Phil'a 415 had a siamesed plenum. Guess not

Major dilemma! I just picked up a '94 White/Red that I wanted to upgrade. Almost the same price. 13.5K miles (now 20K).

I'm tempted to sell mine and pick this one up.

isn't it amazing that with all the high HP 415s we've seen that it was Phil that most consistently got down in the 10s with his cars

he was working on a direct port nitrous setup that I don't think he ever ran.

godspeed Phil, I'm sure you are power shifting in heaven with a diamond shifter ****!!

Sure didn't take long to get them on the auction block. Makes me sad.

My guess is that Phil, knowing his illness was terminal, sold the cars a few months ago so that Eillein wouldn't have to deal with them after he was gone.
Phil never told me his White 92 had a 385 in it. I always thought it was just his driving and exceptional tuning to run those 11.40's.

Would you know who did the work on his car? I see the ebay listing ended with no sale. I've had a few corvette guys ask me to keep my car as-is. Its too clean to mod they say. this would be a perfect car to get what i'd want + keep another ZR-1 pristine.

Thanks.

It's either an LPE car or Vette Drs. Either way, it'll be unbelievably clean and well running. Phil was fanatical about his cars. Literally this: if phil owned it, it is one to dream of owning because it will have every inch of it maintained perfectly, and anything not quite up to going fast will be upgraded with only the finest materials. Every part of anything phil touched was done perfectly. Honestly, to say you own one of his cars is something to be proud of and boast about. The world is a little worse without him.

Clint - you're probably right about Phil taking care of the cars before he passed away - it's the gentlemanly thing to do, and phil was a scholar and a gentleman. Always.

Thanks for the info. The car is no longer on the seller's website and I didn't grab it.

Who's the lucky SOB?
