TheGame, I'm exit 109 GSP I would gladly drive north for you and your crew to check out my 95 ZR-1. Or, your even welcome to come to my house I have some killer low/no traffic roads near me you can see the performance for yourself. It is great to see other car guys even thinking about and appreciating the performance of the C4 ZR-1. Keep me posted, Thanks

Yep, that's not going to happen probably Long way from here to sea level for "just for kicks" test drive.
It's all relative anyway; most cars lose power equally here, so relatively speaking the differences "feel" about the same. If I'm headed through Illinois though, I will let you know.

I know the C7 faster but this 12.9 could have been a 12.8 if it were not for the miss in third gear. The 1992's ZR-1's sure are quick!

Yes and another believer is born. I would venture to say that more than a few have come away from one of these get togethers with a new found respect for lowly C4.

n regards to Tom, he knows what he is talking about. He is a track veteran. His data is solid.
and on the '15 vs Z stock for stock it wouldnt even be a race imo more like a slaughter. Think the LS3 would do a number on it also
They should they are way newer and more tech
Hey the Z was a great car for its time but lets face it its far from "the king" anymore. Someone commented earlier on running down a C6z
not gonna happen, one I ran took off away from me so quick when hit third I may as well have put the parking brake on (thats even with having gears/tune/catback)

Drifting
Cars and Coffee this am in Charlotte NC must have had 15 c7 Z06's and 50 c7's
The c7 is an awesome looking machine!
Guess how many c4 zr-1's? Zero as always unless I drive one of mine.
I took the 69 z28 which drew a nice crowd. The car hasnt been out of the shop in over a year.

69 z now theres a timeless one
Nope, not yet.
On the street even with drag radials it would probably leave me sitting there. Track with heat in the tires, it would be real fun. Thinking it could go either way. (not a Zr1....old one belongs to a friend its about due for a full resto but still runs hard at almost 200k)
Have you ever ran a new LT1???
