Default Ride Control Light

The Ride Control Light on my 1990 ZR-1 is on. The codes set are 21 (left front) and 22 (right rear). I have verified that the damping adjustment gears turn on each actuator and also that the gears on each shock turn smoothly and easily. I have also verified that 5 Volts are present between the appropriate pins on the connectors involved which I believe indicates the controller is working.

Any advise or suggestions on where to look next?

Make sure the actuator's are seated fully. If you have removed the shocks you most likely do not have them tightened down enough for those actuators to fully seat.

I believe it can come on if you have tried to start, or started the car a few times (maybe three) without moving it.....the computer senses no imput from the system, so the code sets..assuming no other problem.
