Default hamonic balancer ???/

I am almost done rebuilding my motor but the balance that came with the motor looks like it it going to fall apart I do have a spare but in reading the fsm it says a replacement has to have the pins in the back of the balancer in the same spots. the replacement has 11 pins and my original has 4 .1) how do I get the extra ones out 2) is the really important that I drill them out or could I just put on the spare balancer .???//

My balancer was pretty beat when I pulled my motor, sent it out to this company and they did an awesome job rebuilding. Got it back, looked brand new. He completely disassembles them and pours new rubber, balance was perfect. Fast turn around too.

I believe Fluid Dampner makes a balancer for the LT5. It might be a better option but would probably cost more. Lifetime gaurantee I believe.
Just an option to consider as I have never installed one on mine.
