Ron,

What's the primary size on the Jeals? I have Watson 1 7/8ths.

That's a helluva price for those Jeal headers. Somebody better grab them, quick. The quality of the early production Jeals is unreal as a Formula One exhaust shop built them.

Ha, ha, Jeals are paid for. Thanks again Ron. Know that they are going to a great new home.

no, both muffs are "open"

I do have a set of c6 tips that can be added to give it a mild to wild flapper

and the c6 tips look great. I'm thinking about doing this mod on my ZR-1 but haven't found just the right NPP controller solution just yet.

Ideally I want ON full time

or ON, only on low vacuum during accel

would probably settle for just full time open or full time closed.

You know I made a set up for about $110 that has engine load sensing and rpm threshold, right? you can also wire in a switch to override it one way or the other manually too. I just never went through any effort to enclose it all in one box to make it plug in, but that could be done too.

Ron,

As mike100 pointed out, I took the less complex route.

Here's a vid of my install. Having had it now for over a year, I can tell you I mostly ride around with the actuators closed. Opening them up increases the exhaust note noticeably, but not annoyingly.
I love the exhaust note either way. Fun to pull up to somebody, flip the switch and let them hear the full exhaust rumble. One other thing I recently did. Since I have the C6Z06 brake upgrade, my spare is useless. However, I have the spare tire carrier attached and now its has fiberglass insulation in it. Doubled bagged. That really seems to help in cutting down the boom of the exhaust at low rpm/high MAP throttle. Tuning also sweetens the exhaust note.

The tips are installed on 3" inlet DynoMax Ultraflows.

I remember that! love to get more details if possible on how to replicate that setup. it's exactly what I'm looking to do. the LSV is a bit throaty for long trips and I plan on taking a bunch of them.

she's got 90K now and I plan to put 190K on this car. the miles = smiles and I am hooked on the sweet song of the beast.

B&B system with X pipe $750 shipped

high flow cats $250 shipped

both together $950 shipped

the B&B is a full 3" system that sounds fantastic with the x pipe and flows a ton.

need to move this thing out!

Is this an original Gen B&B? can you take pics in the muffler tips or do you see baffles right inside the tips like walls? I have a newer gen B&B system on my 93 and I need the older one for the power it makes. Or else ill have to cut my mufflers open and remove the baffles and walls.

I think this is a newer one but I'll check. it will be next week before I have time. it's on flea bay now with a low starting price of 700 for the exh PLUS the cats.

the older exh definitely makes more power. but get ready for some serious drone. the extra 5 hp isn't worth the headache if you travel.
