Default Cup Holders?

Getting ready for the C4 Gathering trip and I am trying to solve the problem of cup holders. I like to carry water with me all the time. Just a habit. So I tried getting the C4 cup holder that slides over the ashtray cover; no bueno. Also picked up the 2 cup holder that installs on the passenger side of the tranny tunnel; well honestly it no where near fitting but I may try trimming in lieu of sending it back. What other options are out there?

PS: I saw a bag that you can set in the passenger seat or set just in the back that had a "pocket" up front for drinks. Any feecback on those?

What is wrong w/the cup holders that are already in the car?

If you "cup" is too large, I use a water bottle (that won't leak) and just lay it between my right thigh and the center console. Pretty easy.

Perhaps a refinement in your selection process of who you choose as a cup holder for the trip is required.

Or you could get one of those hats that holds two beer cans on top with hoses coming down, and just re-work (aka waste it ) to hold water bottles instead of beer cans.

Craig,
It's not nice to refer to someone as a bag...................

Ha. Great comments. I am sure I will end up using a "map bag" with the cupholder in the front pocket or just prop them up in the passenger seat like I do now. Oh and no "bags" will be riding with me to Ky. Per se that is.

I assume nobody in the passenger seat. Must be something you
can hang over the top of the passenger seat like the soccer moms
use in their SUV's for back seat kids. Get the Barney one!
