Fixer upper $7500
Saw this '90 on Craigslist. No other info other than pics. $7500. Needs relatively little bodywork apparently. I think the big question is how many miles and does it run.

Wasn't planning on getting another Z anytime soon, but at that price, I'm seriously considering it.
Only thing though, it looks like the engine is probably not in the car as there is way too much gap between the front wheels and the hood. Also, it looks like there may not be any exhaust system on the car either, in the one pic of the rear, I don't think I see any exhaust tips.
If the entire LT5 and all accessories aren't included, and the car is just a roller, $5K isn't that great of a price.
I sent an email, we'll see if I get a response.

So I got a reply from him. He says the engine is in the car, but that the transmission is missing. When I asked why, he said it was stolen. Very weird, I've never heard of someone stealing the transmission from a car.
He did send a pic of the engine, though it doesn't show the whole thing.

I would suspect he would take less than $5k, so as a parts car, it looks like it could give you a good ROI if you were to chop it.
Might be a fun project to at least put the LT-5 back together and have a complete engine.

Yeah, maybe. With no tranny, it's not as an attractive buy as if it was there, but it does look like the entire LT5 is there. But exhaust is prob gone (no issue, cus I have 2 full stock exhausts) and maybe driveline too.
I'd have to get it for less than 5K to make it worth it. If I could get it for around 4K and find a good used ZF for 800-1000, might be worth it to restore it. Paint actually looks decent other than the primered areas and there is a car cover on the ground, so looks like they keep it covered at least.
Another thing that could be an issue is the fact there is that C5 wagon wheel on the front right side. I wonder if maybe it got hit right on the wheel and the car got shoved into something on the other side which might explain the primered areas. Looks like the driver's mirror was replaced too.
As long as the title is actually clean like it says and there is no front end damage, could be worth it. I'm mulling it over, its just over a 3 hour drive one way for me and I'd have to rent a trailer.

Car is sold.
Red with Black guts, #2325
It'll likely be parted.
Too rough and cost too much to fix.
The completely (and I mean COMPLETELY) bald tires, the one 1990 front wheel and the correct 1990 ZR1 rear wheels will need repair and refinishing from curb rash, upholstery wear and rips, rock chips, windshield chips, faded paint, rotten window rubber, general filth all speak of a car well north of 100k miles having lived an outdoor life in the heat, and judging by the metal cords showing on the tire on one real ZR1 front wheel, it was driven hard, REALLY hard, A LOT. The bondo, primer and black side view mirror on the drivers side all appear to relate to a sideswiping event of some kind. Transmission is long gone, ZR1 specific rear license plate frame is gone, Bose radio is gone, Dash is in pieces, wires hanging, Information Display Module is gone, one front wheel not ZR1.
Motor appears to be complete, appears that the plenum was removed to access the bell housing bolts on the top. No telling what if anything the motor needs, this owner never heard it run.
Restoring would cost way more than it's worth.
