Default C4 ZR-1 Texas Meet

Hey, guys. MickeyD and I have thrown together a quick little meet in the hill country for Sat 8/22. We'll be meeting at Salt Lick BBQ in Driftwood at 11:00 for some fantastic food, cigars and beer. The ladies are definitely welcome as are all Corvettes. All that's required is a pulse and a Vette. Oh, and cash. This location only takes cash. Post up if you can make it so I can give them somewhat of a head count. If you don't get around to posting come on anyway. It's not like they're going to run out of food. Here's the info:

Our Vette club wound up at the Salt Lick a couple of weeks ago. Great place! Plenty of parking and they even have a cute girl driving a little shuttle between the BBQ and the parking lot. Don't think I'll have my car back together by then but just wanted to say, It's a nice area to drive and a great place to have some good BBQ & beer with friends!

Can an '86 with 10ft paint, crappy original wheels, but with a new interior and rebuilt drive line and motor attend? (Hey its a project). If so, the wife and I will make the effort.

In the sticks around Pipe Creek, also known as stickville, in the county of Bandera, aka Bantucky.

A Corvette is an oddity around these here parts.

Thanks. It just dawned on me that this was originally a ZR-1 meet up. I'll be keeping my hood closed.

You should reconsider if it's due to heat. Forecast calls for Sat to start out at about 73 degrees. Should be mid to upper 80's by the time we meet. Topping out about 97 by 5-6 o'clock. Around 93 for most of the time we're there so it's going to be nice. I don't mind those temps at all.

Bandera is a great little town. Beautiful part of the state with some AWESOME roads. Especially just west of you.

No need. It's a Corvette meet. I think there's going to be a C6 and a C7 as well.

That can work.. See what time he's planning on being there. We'll make the run down 21 just west of Bastrop on 290 to HWY 150. West through Buda and on to Dripping Springs..

Looks like Mark Horner may try and join us if time permits so the group is getting bigger by the day. Looking forward to meeting everyone.
