yea, I'd leave the bracket and pull the clutch pedal.

Jerry you are right, will has the only stroker TT, very interesting story behind that car.

as much as I would sell a kidney to afford this one, it will have to come some other time.

from what I've learned this one may need some maint done to the tranny, and I'm curious if LPE did the auto swap.

the current folks don't know what they have but yet aren't letting folks negotiate with the owner.

bottom line is there will never be more than 4 LPE TT, and if you check the prices of these cars when they were build, they were I believe 54k except for the 385 which started at 54k for the TT and then went back for the 385 upgrade.

after watching Norm's car with JL pulling 9.40s with it, I was in love.

I rode in Will's car and it ruined my for my LSV.

that being said, whoever buys this be prepared for a bit of work.

As far as I know...LPE did everything on the car. Easiest to contact them directly...

But, yeah, the power was pretty stupid in them for sure. Instant grin when the "go" pedal was dropped.

I started a thread on this car a while back and I believe you are correct.

your killing me you know that right!! 42 for this car back then was a screamin deal.

I really miss Paul and the days of the LPE TT cars roaring down BG

ahhh, the memories of JL doing a John Force style burn out and the car scating down the track scrambling for traction as the boost pegs out.

back to Paul's car, I don't remember him ever seeing it run in person after the auto swap. the last time I saw it run he had tranny problems.

Jeez, I need to sell my house, the LSV, and a kidney.

that car has alot of history and is one of the "ultimate" ZR-1s, especially to me!

that tt c4 is one I'll take, especially for 42.5

I gasped and nearly died. the conversion was about 54k.

even at 65 this car would be unreal.

so much $$$ and time invested.

I'd want it if the manual was put back in place of the auto.

easy to do.

going to the auto is tough, going back to a stick is ez

but once you feel that turbo pull through the auto, you'll change your mind in a hurry.

At $59K it is getting closer to the auction cost of 42.5 in April 2012.

Mecum Indianapolis 2012. With C7 Z06 in the mid to high $70's and C6 ZR-1 in the upper $50 to lower $60. I have no clue where our cars are going.
