Default Rear ZR-1 bumper opportunity!!!

I have an opportunity to possibly trade a '97-'04 C5 front bumper for a rear '90-'95 rear ZR-1 bumper. My friend wants something to hang on his garage wall and has threaten to cut up the ZR-1 bumper to accomplish his wish.
Do you think that this is a fair trade bumper for bumper, or would I need to offer some cash in the deal?
Opinions needed..... Thanks........Tom

If it's complete with moldings you should "contribute " additional cash generously!

It might have significant to do with the condition of the rear ZR-1.

Doesn't look like serious damage, but missing the moldings. How did your friend get it? If you're giving him an undamaged painted C5 bumper, trade him even steven.

He got it from his brother who supposedly ordered it from GM as a replacement bumper for his regular Corvette, but was shipped a ZR-1 bumper. It is only shop dust on the bumper as I am told!!! and has been sitting in his brother's garage for many years.
My C5 bumper is painted and from my '97 with a slight cut on the bottom right. I might have to throw in a few $$ to temp him....
I would hate to see him cut it up just to hang on the garage wall...

We both agreed to do an even swap, so it worked out very well to say the least!!!! I am lucky it worked out this way.....I knew that keeping my C5 bumper all of this time would pay off some day....

BTW, I have a couple slightly damaged ones that I'm going to have repaired and ready for paint.

Yes I did..... a very fortunate find
some pics with part #'s, which appear to be a GM part.....it was also MADE IN CANADA as stamped inside the bumper....

Also found these markings inside the RR towards where the ZR-1 rear emblem would be placed. Have no clue if these markings have any meaning......

A 'virgin' ZR-1 bumper is worth some substantial cash. However, unless the bumper is mounted on a car, I would be worried about making a mold for fear of it not being supported properly and thus misshapen; ruining the mold.

Brett Henderson comes to mind. He makes molds and makes panels from them - extensively. He'd be the one I'd contact for some comprehensive info.
