Has anyone seen or have any info. on this ZR1? Cosmetic problems for sure, but price seems tempting.

Not a good deal in my opinion. Lots of nice cars out there for a little more.

I didn't look at the ad too closely, but I had two immediate thoughts:
1) That's a helluva a lot of car for under $10k. What else could you buy for that much money and get something so unique, interesting and powerful?
2) Eleven months ago I saw an ad for a $10,600 '91 ZR-1 in ATL Craigslist. It was rough cosmetically and didn't run well (coils, injectors - the usual). Long story short - Today I have a great running, good looking ZR-1 and no regrets. I spent ~$4k on a paint job and another $1,000 - $2,000 of other things.
Before I decided to paint my car, I briefly considered wrapping it (or Plasti-Dip), just to make it look presentable.
So, I think the car is worth considering.

I don't see how you could go wrong, especially if it is mechanically sound. Paint and body work, plus interior freshening, maybe some porting, etc.... It would make a heck of a fun (and rewarding!) project car. Hellz bellz, an LT5 w/ attached ZF and computer alone just sold for $6900 on ebay. I don't see how you could go to far wrong! (Like Steve...If I had the $ for a third Z (4th Corvette) right now, it would be MINE!)
