From what I've seen over the last couple of years, modified ZR1's don't do all that well at these auctions.
However, since it's a Lingenfelter, maybe there's hope.

The late great Paul Dehnert's TT appears again - it sold in Indy by Mecum about 4 years ago for about 40K - someone chip in with the exact price - I don't remember.
I'm still kicking my own a$$ for not buying all 3 of his ZR-1s then.

Was sold 2-3 years ago for $36K @ Mecum
Has been for sale for the last 2 years $65K down to $59.9K and now back to Mecum.
Sad that this car does not bring the money it should, or any of the great LT5 cars.

Not so sad really. I hope it goes for $40K or less, in hopes that it gets driven.
But this gem certainly qualifies as a very special ZR-1. So few made, and built by the best, and most famous, Corvette tuner of all time, the late great John L.

I tried to deal with them on this car about five months ago. It seems they're pretty set close to the advertised price.
I'd love to have it because I don't want any car that I don't drive.

My guess is it will move in the 38-40 range. IMHO whoever installed nitrous made a HUGE mistake. No one ever believes the "installed but never been used" line.

I've been told it looks rough IRL. Pictures do this one very well.
At this price point, it needs new interior and the auto removed, ZF replaced.
Second hand info. I have not seen it IRL.

The z was viewed by a local PPI inspector on my behalf and the asking price is not reflective of the condition of the z. If any person is interested I would highly recommend seeing it in person and making your own assessment. I would immediately purchase if the price was a bit lower but as it was mentioned the dealer is not moving as it is under consignments. It will take a special enthusiest to move on this car. Let's see what the auction brings. I highly doubt it meets the reserve unless it is removed when reality stricks
