Another 1995 Low Mile ZR1
These must have been the vehicles to store. I have no affiliation with the seller.

#9 was totaled by the original owner in 1995. was purchased by Phil DeJohn who recently passed away. was rebuilt by Mr. DeJohn. The car looks properly repaired. But would have to see in person. Probably a great driver for the right price.

Phil was a jeweler by trade. That alone will give some insight on the quality of the repair he did. The car does not have a rebuild title. It has a 93 engine in it , very long story. I dare anyone to find any flaw in 009 . The car is stunning , runs strong to boot.

I'm very interested in this car. Do you have some history of it?

Shortly after receiving it back with the engine modded on a cold fall morning Larry did some spirited driving with other ZR1 Owners on Long Island. He lost it and the ZR1 landed on a huge Bolder right under the passenger and driver Cabin. Larry fought to ensure the car wasn't branded and Phil bought the car minus the LSV Motor. Larry pulled the motor and swapped it with his green 93 ZR1. His wife had a white LSV. Phil bought the car and had it restored at no expense in my town of Freeport New York. I personally saw the car before the accident during the restoration and after. Phil had a vanity play that read "IM BACK"

This Z # 9 was originally owned by the late Larry Morrow president of the ZR1 Registry. The original motor was modified by Lingenfelter LSV.

I wonder if there are any pictures of the rebuild around.

That sounds like a huge amount of money for a '95 car with NOM that's not even the same year ('93). The seller would probably have a hard time getting that price even with an original motor. Hib Halverson just sold one for a lot less money with (I believe) an original motor.

Not in a rush. Looking at options now.
