personally dont mind the delam much its part of the aging character relic thing. Rather see aging orig paint than new not so great stuff
Considered at one point looking for a very light purlple tint or very light blue wondered how it would look.
A typical tint Id think would be a ticket getter and tough to see details at night?
There are good durable tints out, my dd had it put on in 2002 and cannot tell any wear flaws at all.
