Bought it in March 2000. Thought I might have to buy out of state but saw two Blacks in the Los Angeles area. Flew down to look at both but bought the first one I saw, second owner. Drove it back home that same night.

Congrats. Nice ride. I saw my 25th last year and the thought of paying $28.50 for it`s last tag caused my celebration. This was in Mississippi. How much do other states charge for an antique tag?

I'm not sure. I will have to look. Mine is close to 25 too, but being a 91 I registered it as an antique in TX. In TX I think you still have to pay every 5 years on antique plates but it is cheaper. No silly stickers to put on windshield either.

My 91 was built in 90

My 91 number 1997 apparently was born on June 7th. That means I picked her up 4 days prior to her 25th birthday. Pretty cool actually. It also means when I got my antique plates a few weeks later I was totally legit on the 25 years old requirement.

My 93 was built on my birthday in 92.

Where can you find the date that our cars were built on? I've looked over the factory window sticker and really can't find anything. I don't have a built sheet and any of the old receipts do not have a build date. BTW mine is 1991/1388
Thanks!
Thanks!

Not exactly sure but I do remember the day number is in the build sheet. Example my 91 was built in OCT 91 and I think it was day # 263 or something like that. Now I could be all wrong on this.

Congrats, mine is still a baby.... 23 years and 1 month.....
Here is a copy of my Build Sheet for my 94, that I tape to the windshield at car shows. As you can see at the top of the BS, it shows the exact date and time (I imagine that the build begun)
Date: 09/10/93 Time: 10:01:24
Date: 09/10/93 Time: 10:01:24

Looking at a 1993 calendar, it show Sept 10, (my build date) as Friday. Since I am #9 of the 94 MY, I am assuming that 94 ZR-1 production started on the Friday morning shift, or the day before on Thursday.
