Came across this on Autotrader this morning. Thought some ZR-1 fans would get a kick out of it.

Rizza in Tinley Park, IL.....

same dealer that back in 90 wanted +30,000.00 to buy one.
this must be left over that never sold at the +30 and they still think they will get 50,000 for it.

good luck with this one!

Indeed. I got a kick out of the Carfax report that said it has been offered for sale since last September. Someone back in 1991 must have thought "just tuck it away, it will be worth a mint some day." Not so much apparently!

No, but that is one of the dealers that started the + money, market value stuff that all the other Chicago dealers than started doing.
my dealer lost his G.M. store about 8 years ago after G.M. shut him down. He is now a Ford dealer in the same town after they bought the Ford store from the Ford dealer I always bought the work Vans from.
the poor salesman I use to deal with called to say who owns them now but all will be the same .......I said who bought you.....do to a bad deal on the 90 ZR1 I have never gone back to that store, so no, I will find a new ford dealer to work with.

it is just stupid on my part....but after the 90 problem I have never bought any G.M. car, so they have lost about five car sales to me.....but I have always felt better.

It's a shame that car has not be enjoyed and instead sitting like that for all those years.
