Dried my car with a leaf blower today
I saw one of these high power car driers on tv ,I can't remember the price ,but it was around $300. Decided to try my Toro electric leaf blower. The thing worked great. I also used a water blade and some terry cloths to get all the water off.It well great in the hard to get areas like the mirrors and rear hatch.

I've been exclusively drying my cars like that for 20 years!

I have graduated up to a battery powered leaf blower. Not messing around with an extension cord is a huge time saver and you can just work on dryer the car quickly to avoid water spots.

I too... about 22 years since I first used one . My dad had a Toro.. and it had a plastic impeller inside and it blew like no other corded one could that i could find over the next 22 years till today I believe most new blowers are mulchers too so the impellers are designed to be able to do both. The old one my dad had was strictly for blowing.
Electric ones are pretty good I keep one for when i have to wash away from home and I also have a gas one (that blows the exhaust out of its own seperate exhaust).

They can dry 3 cars on a charge- maybe 2 if you try to dry the car off completely without the use of towels. Or you can actually blow some leaves every now and then...

I ordered the EGO, 110 mph & 530 cfm, 56V Li-ion. It's new and has very high customer ratings (Scored 4.8/5 & several hundred reviews). $211 delivered.
Good recommendation, Mike. I'm taking it to Carlisle

I wonder if the new 2.5 Ah battery will work with the charger that came with my 2.0 Ah unit? Stay off the turbo button, haha- you only get 15-20 min on the battery life then- it's like draining a nitrous bottle. It is too fun not to use it.

Yeah. I'm very surprised at how well it works. It gives away nothing in terms of effectiveness to the AC leaf blower I'm used to, except (I suppose) battery life. But, I seldom do more than 2 cars (Vettes) at a time, and it will handle that on a single charge, no problem!
