Chester, Il Mustang-Corvette show
Just recently moved to the Chester, Il area and seen a sign for a Mustang-Corvette car show, so I got the 93 Comp yellow Z cleaned up the best I could. I about melted as is was 100 degrees but at the end they took the crowd into the High School to give out awards and I am happy to say that my Z won Best of Show Engine!!! What a warm welcome to the newbie in the area. People were amazed with the LT5. The trophy was 4' tall so I wasn't able to go grocery shopping after the show.....had to go home with the trophy riding shotgun!!!

Congrats on the purchase of ur ZR-1. 1990 red/red #2161 here. September 16 i`ll be coming thru Popeyeville on the way to the Drag Boat race in New Athens on the 17-18th. Two races in one weekend due to a rain out. Come, bring friends, mingle and converse. I`ll be running the 10 second class. Pulling a red jet boat (UNDERDOG) with a red GMC 4x4.
