FX3 parts needed?
Repost from ZR-1 forum.
In the middle of redoing the rear suspension and putting 4:10 gears in. While waiting for the speedo gears, I figured I'd look into the rear shocks. The po replaced the rear shocks with KYBs. I went fishing in the frame and found the actuators were there. I ordered 2 new rear shocks from E-shocks. I know I'm going to need the clips to mount the actuators, and I think mounting bushings. I see they sell a metal gear, Do the new ones come gears on them? Also the lights don't come on in the info cluster. Is there a certain fuse? I need to check if they disconnected the module or pulled the bulb yet.
Cleaning progress...

Rich yes the small gears come with the shocks but you will be missing the clips as stated and the actuator cups as well that ride on top of the shocks that the actuators mate to. Hopefully the PO only pulled the lights for the FX-3 system from the DIC.
http://www.captainzcnc.com is a source for the actuator clips and you can see pictures there on that website of the cups that ride on top of the shock as well. They offer a actuator rebuild service and have great troubleshooting advise for checking out the system. I would email them to see if they have the cups.
DRM is were I was able to get upper and lower poly shock bushings http://dougrippie.com/
They still sell them I just checked for you. If your interested Rich I do have a spare set of Actuators (1 Front and 1 Rear) that work perfectly that also have the cups and the clips you need in my parts crib. They are used but in fine shape. Drop me a PM if you are interested.

Pulled the dic and found the bulb and holder missing. I swapped it out with one off the top and checked the codes. There were 2 codes and they were for the rear shocks out of time, go figure.
So I need, bushings, clips and cups. And spare bulb holder for the dic..
Thanks!

Shocks came today, got the bushings, clips, and cups. I just propped the shocks up and put the actuators on temporary without the clips. Turned the key on and the light went out. Curios though does the system self check rotating the gear back and forth? Does it matter the position the shock gear is in before putting on the actuator?

This excellent tech article by Hib Halverson should bring you up to speed on the FX3 Selective Ride Control system

Thanks, but I read that before. It doesn't tell me about installing the actuators, just how it all works. I'll have to check my FSM for 96 if it shows it. I need to order ones for 94.

Position of the gear on the top does not matter, They auto check every time you turn the key on. All you have to do is put the actuators on.
