Amazing time tonight, absolute pleasure getting to meet the Chicago area ZR1 guys for dinner. I'll definitely touch base with everyone again when I come to pick up the car.

Here are a few pics at Marc's shop and at the SRIII shop, didn't grab pics of our frame before we loaded it in the trailer I'll post up some once we get it home.

I do, they are fairly rough, planned on keeping them just for rollers around the shop.

Great pics - I think you'll love your 95 when you get it back. Seeing the pics of Marc's shop brings back good memories of when I had mine done a couple of years ago. Interesting to see the Chief's car (Dave McLellan's) at Marc's (green 95 with "ZREX" plate).

I cant wait to get it back, it will be a completely different car. I noticed the Chief's car, that speaks volumes about Marc and his shop.

Got an update from Marc last week, I had a bad crank sensor, that was what caused the backfires an stumbling. Marc was getting ready to pull the engine to start the porting.

While waiting on the Z to get back I bought this new toy last week, still has quite a few things left to be done.

I started an off topic thread here

http://https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums/off-topic/3907254-velocity-exo-contour-my-new-toy.html

Here are a few pics as is and what the finished car looks like.....

I had Marc do my ZR-1 this summer. Picked it up and took it to Carlisle. I then drove it home to SLC, UT. I did the same package, even the torch red engine. I had him install B&B Fusion exhaust and it dynode at 526 HP. I have never been so happy with a car in my life. Marc is the man!!

That's great! I can't wait to get mine back it from Marc, it will be the first ZR1 I've driven, or even rode in stock or modified. Mine had a bad crank sensor, and was running horrible when I dropped it off to Marc.

So this will be an absolute treat once it's done.

That Velocity Contour is awesome. What kind of transaxle is that?

Thanks!!!! The transaxle is a Porsche Boxster S (I think) 6 speed using the Porsche shifter and cables.

I can't wait to get it buttoned up to hear it run, build quality and engineering are very impressive.

Got an update from Marc today, motor is back in, clutch and trans are going in tomorrow. Planning on picking it up in about 2 weeks, thinking about flying up and driving home, thought it would be much more fun than dragging it home on a trailer!

Can't wait to drive this thing!!

About finished with my other little side project while I've been waiting on the Z.....
