Default Spray paint for plenum and I/Hs ?

Would like to eventually paint my plenum I/Hs and possibly cam covers..I remember seeing somewhere there is a good quality spray paint for this...

Would like to get the color as close to factory as possible....Would Jerrys gaskets have this? Guess I'll check there website .....

Thanks....

best is the the lingenfelter grey , i think jerrys gaskets carries that. almost perfect match to the stock powder coating. be careful on what clear coat you use if you decide to do that, i used some vht brand and it started to yellow over time. the best thing is to have it powder coated.

Powder coating is a great product. Just be careful where the powder gets into. Mask and clean THOROUGHLY before installation.

I have personal knowledge of customers & shops that have incurred problems & engine damage from loose powder getting into the fuel & crankcase.

This is solid advice. If you want a factory look that will not stain, the LPE paint is great stuff. I've used it for many years and never applied clear coat and the finish always remained nice.

I used the Lingenfelter grey as well. Grey product and looks stock. I used it 8 or 9 years ago.
