Dog Bone Throttle Body
I bought an LT5 engine and transmission for my 91 to ease the uncertainty of not being able to find spare parts. It came with two throttle bodies, neither of which was on the engine, and one connected to an air intake horn.
The air intake horn and connected throttle body had the dog bone mod as shown for the Morrison ZR1 on Mark Haibeck's site. This does not look like a backyard porting job, it actually looks more professional than the one on Mark's site.
Was this a popular mod years ago? Where there any shops doing this?
I do not believe this was ever installed on this engine because the plenum has not been modified and the stock throttle body has linkage while the dog bone does not.

Sorry guys, right after I started this post I ended up in the hospital and I'm just now starting to come back.
I took some pictures today but I not having much luck with photoshop. When I get it figured out, I will post them.
I was hoping to get my heads ported and installed this winter and decide if I wanted to try running it to see how it performs. I doubt it will help much without going all out but it might be fun to try.
