We froze our butts off, but had a blast! Had four of us click 115-125 coming by down I-45.. I love how the C4 ZR-1 sits down when you get over 100mph. Great day, great company and killer cars!

In spite of the cold weather I had a blast. Gotta say it was the first time I have seen a trailer hitch on a ZR-1 too. Since Dallas can't seem to come through they should have to come further south next time. Who seconds this?

Lisa and I had a great time! I loved talked to the guys about our cars but I think that Lisa liked the cats better. Can't wait for March- Go Texas ZR1s!

Thank you all for braving what we call cold weather (you do realize we will get laughed at). It was still a great time and please thank the wives for sticking with it. If we were cold they must've been freezing.
I'll get with Mike and we'll start working on a GTG at his estate somewhere around mid to late Mar/early April. Hopefully, we can start planning a Texas caravan to BG in May.
Until then...see you on the boards and keep the shiny side up and the tires hot!

Great meeting everyone today and seeing everyone's cars including the LT4s and Z! Dallas is definitely a C7 town as far as I can tell. I get far more attention in my C3 than ZR around here too.
The location is nice. We should do it in the spring and bring some charcoal and burgers from Central Market. We could make a nice day / cookout and the weather should be warmer. I was born in TX and today was just too damn cold for me. It was nice in the car but standing out in that wind with no sun was pretty bad.

I do. But we don't get the drive if we do it in Houston!

Hey we can always go for a run anytime. It's just to rub it in a little more for our dear wine/cheese friends to the north.
Are you surviving it over there?

Don't make fun of the fact I like wine and cheese. I tend to share if people are nice and I plain refuse to drink bad wine. I've considered sommelier as my last career. I have a 200-300 bottle fridge well stocked in the dining room. As the collection grows we will need a new house with cellar or to rent outside storage.

Sounds like you could you Mikey's and my help. We are available to taste test and advise of the quality of the selection. However, we bring no cheese and I hear Dave has chicken so that might work.
