Default 91 Polo Green ZR1 on Houston Tx. Craigslist

Ran across this 91 ZR1 this morning in my search for a 96 Purple coupe, Polo Green with 84k miles, # 1704, both tops, in the few pictures posted it looks like a nice clean ZR1 with a asking price of 12k, I sent a reply to the add but something (like common sense) tells me this is a scam, will see if I get a reply.

Most likely not a scam, that sounds about right price wise.

If anyone is seriously interested, this is close to my home. I can take a look and give it a good checkout..

If you contact the seller, ask for a picture of the VIN, rpo label, and engine bay. It isn't uncommon for some of these cars to be in a state of disrepair- or the scondaries don't work and the car feels slow.

If you look at this car, you can see the busted flip up headlamp...if they couldn't handle a cheap tlc type of repair like that, probably a lot of other things have gone unfixed. Maybe that car could be a beast with a $1000 dumped into it...or maybe $10,000 hard to say. The ZF would have to be tight, or forget it...

Don't get hung up on the 2-4 bolt main if a nice deal pops up the lower end of an LT5 block is nothing like a small block.

I do like the 92 and up for ASR, even though most aren't a fan of ASR. But thanks, I will keep it in mind.

4 bolt mains are pretty meaningless on the LT-5. Bottom end is an anvil.

Default Zr1

Picked up a 90 two months ago for 10.6k. Needed injectors, tires and some good old fashioned cleaning and weather stripping. Also radio work/replacement. If i had not bought it I would certainly take a look at this one for a driver. Seems about right for this one depending on the mechanicals.
