I wondered what happened to that car. I emailed them for pictures out of curiosity, and they sent me some document about doctors and hospitals  without any pictures.
I just figured it wasn't real, or the sellers didn't know how to market it properly. Based on that, I figured if the deal was real, someone would get it for a good price, and it would seem that BANS25 did.

Well guys, to make a long story short... I didn't buy it! I had myself very excited about the car, but I guess what they say about if its to good to be true.. is true..
The seller (I think he believes it is in excelent condition) described the car as excelent condition. The interor was not to bad (leather was in very good condition) but the seats were missing some of the red plastic parts, the read carpet and bose speaker covers were toast, needed exterior window gaskets, about 4-5" on drivers door edge the paint was worn down to black brimer, some body work around pass side mirror (not a good repair job), and the pass door/hood looked to be painted, with one section of the hood had some bad orange peel, and some other minor problems. The car looked decent from 10-15 feet away (I was told the only problem with body would need a magnifying glass to see a couple small chips in rear quarter)
Under the hood was just real dirty, most of it would clean up, there was very heavy staining of the plenum/cam covers, not a big deal but my 35K mile 90 is much much cleaner under the hood.
The motor started right up and was very smooth and sounded great. I didn't drive the car because I basicly made up my mind that I didn't want it due to the condition (even know I could fix it up over time.) and I didn't want the extra power to move me into buying it.
The seller did show me all the paper work and it was a LPE 475 package in it that was 16,5K in 94'
The car was worth the price, just not what he told me it was so its not what I was expecting. The thought crossed my mind to still buy it and do a motor swap with my 90... if it was a 368 I prob would have.
I think mechanicly (although I didn't drive it) it seemed solid, but the cosmetic were not to par. It was a tough choice for me to walk away but part of me felt upset about the was it was described.
As you can see I am still torn about walking away.. my father in law was with me (he owns a very nice stock 92' QBM vert) he said "well LPE or not I would choose your car anyday over this one" and that about summed it up for me too. I thought I could make a latteral move, or maybe 2-3K out of my pocked and get a 475, but not going to happen.
Like I said it seemed decent, just not right for me :cry looks like I will be driving a stocker for a while, maybe if I install my headers, and do a P&P, and install my 4.10's I will be happy with my car for a couple years (at least I can wash/wax mine and feel happy with the results.
Also he mentioned that someone else looked at the car (local I think) the guy showed up in a red Callaway 490 ZR1 anyone know who it was? I want to see what they thought of this car.
Thats it for now, I am at my in-laws in CT until tomorrow night so I will not be checking mail...
Do you guys think I am crazy for walking away for a 20K Z w/16.5K of mods that just had cosmetic issues??
This is the same reason I walked from that DRM 368 a couple months ago..
Maybe my Z just doesn't want to leave!

Re: Bill...is this your new baby??? (Bans25)
Like Julio just said - I'll bet that car won't do more than 370 rwhp. Ron has the same package on his 93, and it dynoed just above 370 rwhp. Don't sweat it bill -you can do the top end to your car, with the 4:10s, and get more power in a much cleaner vehicle. :seeya
