Default Finally I bring a little bling....

Hey kids--
Well, it took long enough, but the black chrome wheels are finally on the car. It was getting pretty dark by the time I got it home, but here is a pic until I can get more light:

Bryan, this is Jeff.....

Send me the calipers. We'll get them nice. Need daylight pics, the flash just washes everything out.

Bob - you sound weird tonight!

Bryan - your rims are filthy - polish all that brake dust off 'em!

yeah, they look great in person. I do need to do something with the calipers now, lol. Blue or red? Maybe something else? I need to change the front rotors anyway. Can you tell the original owner used this at the track, lol.

Okay, these are a bit better. Still have to see them in person. Man, I really need to do something with those calipers as well as the lug nuts....

Must not be able to make it through Canadian Customs. Shows up fine for me.

Those studs are a little obnoxious.

What can be done about that? Should I just order a set of chrome lugnuts? I want to get those calipers cleaned up, too. And looking at that front wheel pic, I would say that mudflap thing has to go! I definitely need to clean her up a bit!

I would say just use the shorter stock lugs. I don't think anybody makes a lug to completely cover the longer studs.

Ahhh, now I'm picking up what you're putting down! I never really realized they were non-stock studs!

The original owner of that car told me he had to use longer studs because of the brake kit on that car... Now I could see maybe having to use longer studs, but that long!!!

That was my initial thought, but I think Jeff has the same brake system I do. I would think the longer wheel studs would be necessary for different wheel offsets? Maybe competition wheels or something? I guess I can call DRM and see why they used the longer studs. I need to order new front rotors anyway
