F/S 96 CE LT4 61K Miles $18,500 Rockford ILLinois
Well let's see-NEW PRICE $16,500 JULY ONLY
I am a vette lover & came upon this car at a local dealership. There was a deal already being worked on the car, but lucky for me & hopefully you, it fell thru. I bought it with 52k miles, now it has a little over 60k on it. I've owned it for a little over a year.
It is my 2nd C4-first being a Basket Case 85.
I'm selling cause my dad bought a Modified 2003 Yellow Z06 & it's time for me to update to the C5 myself. I stored it from Nov 1st to the end of March. Fired right up.
It is completely stock except for the muffler elims, descreened MAF, K&N air filter, & open stock intake housing. I have the orig. MAF & mufflers if you want them. I also have the Factory service manuals for it.
It is a garage queen, but not a trailer queen. I don't drive it in the rain, I have an 2000 Eddie Bauer Explorer for that. This vette has all original paint; no body work has been done. No accidents or repairs. Paint is in excellent condition, there are couple of nicks in the paint... touched up buy the previous owner. The rims are in almost perfect condition- No road rash. Body is in A1 SHAPE except for the previously mentioned nicks.
This spring I replaced the fuel pump- FYI Never let your vette get below 1/4 tank of gas, the fuel pump uses the gas to cool itself. The one that I took out was fine so I now have a spare.
CLEAN TITLE- At a local bank. We could go straight there & I think you could leave with the title.
CLEAN CAR FAX- I will show you my copy to save you a few $$
WHAT IT HAS
Silver Exterior (RPO Z15 & 13U)
Interior color- Black (RPO 19I)
Glass top- 2 small cracks on the pass. side (Non-issue) (RPO-CC3 & 24S)
Bose Gold CD Player- Stereo is awesome (RPO U1F & UX0)
Dual Power seats- Works great (RPO AG1 & AG2)
Reclining Seats (RPO AQ9)
Automatic Heating & Cooling- Works awesome (RPO C68)
Lt4 Engine- Stock & VERY STRONG (RPO LT4)
ZF-6 speed trans- stock shifter- Shifts smooth & easy (RPO MN6)
Dana 44V Rear end- Stock no noise
Rear End gear- It has the OEM option of the 3.45 Ratio (RPO GM3)
Tires are decent- 5k-10k miles left (Depends on how you drive
It doesn't have the Z51 or FX3 suspension Has (RPO FE1)
Mobil one oil used ONLY!
If I still have the car in August I plan on taking a 3000 mile road trip with it to the Smokey Mountains.
Last month my dad & I got together with the "Corvette Forum" group & went drag racing in Byron, IL. That was my first time ever. I left the lights at a little over idle (about 1200 rpm). I was on street tires & shifted @6300ish rpm. I crossed the line at the end at 6400 rpm in 3rd gear going 105 mph with an E.T. of 13.38 sec. Using Drag radials & launching @ say 2500 rpm should get you 12.5-7 easy. Ran strong the whole way down the track.
Pictures- I have lots more if you would like.
This car listed for slightly over $40,000 when new. Currently checking Kelley Blue Book put's this car's value at $18,500. These LT4's & especially the CE LT4's are ranging from $15k for a 100k miles to $23k for a 20k miles. With mine having 60k miles I feel $16,500 is a price right in the middle of the range. I am not forced to sell nor do I need to sell it fast so my price is fairly firm.

Let"s Get This Sold So I Can Buy A C5
Would consider trading my C4 + $$$ For your C5
Less than 75k miles,
6-speed
Z06, FRC, Vert, or coupe- In that order
No White or Black
Modified or stock- I would prefer headers & exhaust, cam
Fairly local unless you are will to drive.
No more than $6000 cash & my car for yours.
Please PM Me with a pic of your RPO Sticker & Vin

If anyone wants me to check out this car for them I'll be willing. I'm about 25min drive from Rockford and would be willing to appraise(well as best I can) the car for them. I've owned a C4(still have), a C5 Z06(sold ), and a C6 Z06(still have ).
I'm very critical of small stuff if that helps
John
pm me if interested
