FS: 1993 40th anniversary Ruby Red 36k miles
1993 marked the 40th year of Corvette production and the occasion was observed with the introduction of a 40th Anniversary Package (RPO Z25; $1,455.00). Z25 cars featured a special "Ruby Red" paint, Ruby Red leather power sport seats with headrest embroidery and emblems.
New in 1993 was the passive keyless entry (PKE) system which locked and unlocked the doors along with enabling the alarm system based on proximity of the key to the car.
At only 36k original miles, this car is a great example. I am the 3rd owner. Clean title, clean Carfax. Car is mint in and out. Automatic, no adjustable suspension, and single glass roof. You are welcome to come see the car in person at any time, you will not be disappointed. Please email me at alberto600s@aol.com with any questions or concerns about the car. Thank you.
Located on LI, NY. Asking $15k.

Somebody buy it, he is giving it away!!
Come, on I have a ruby red 40th anniversary 6spd, you might as well give yours away at that price. Mine hase 72k miles and I wouldnt take less than 18k for it. Dont forget c3's are going for more than that and their braking, stopping, handling, and Horsepower are not even close to these cars. Stop the madness low prices on collector optioned cars kills the market!

People don't buy C3's for their performance abilities; they typically buy for the design & nostalgia.
I'd say his price is right on, it would be most difficult to get $18K for one with 72K miles (IMO). That said I love the Ruby's, but I would expect it to be a few years before people start paying a design or nostalgia "premium".

The 35th anniversary cars have just started to climb in value in the last couple years. It will be about 4 or 5 more before the Ruby's start moving up. Buy it now for 15k, sell it in 5 years for 18k? Not a bad deal at all.
