F/S 1985 Corvette 73,000 miles
1985 Corvette in Des Moines, Iowa
1985 Chevy Corvette 5.7 with automatic transmission. tinted acrylic removable top (see through top) This car has had lots of recent updates and repairs read discription below:
TPIS oversized runners, 24 lb injectors, BBK 58mm throttle body. Transmission rebuild as of 12/06. New front wheel bearings as of 6 months ago. New battery. New pads and rotors also as of 6 months ago. Ceramic in front, organic in rear. New wires, rapidfire plugs, cap & rotor. New A/C Condenser & accumulator. Retrofitted to 134a air blows cold. Instrument cluster rebuilt within the past year. All windows tinted w/limo tint. Vehicle runs good and is very powerful. Shifts are firm and precise. Handles extremely well, steering is very tight. It was a daily driver for 2 years. New TPS, newer MAF, new IAC & knock sensor. Starter is 11 months old (delco.) New drivers & passenger side: door handle trim, door lock switches. new wiper switch. new passenger side door handle & release rod. "arm rest savers" installed on both sides.
Vehicle has some light body damage. I was hit from the rear at about 10 mph. The rear bumper has a crack in it (about 8" in length.) The passenger side rear quarter panel also was cracked in the impact (shown in picture). Has a couple of chips in the hood (small see pictures) but other than that the paint is shiney. Nice old car, could use a detailing, buff and cleanup.
It definetly needs a front right tire and an alignment - some of the shims fell out of the right upper control arm and the inner edge of the tire is very bald. The rear tires are pretty new and are bridgestone drag radials. The right front sidemarker assembly is cracked, though that is a cheap fix. Exhaust is missing from the cat on back. The interior trim isn't in bad shape, but has the usual scrapes/small cracks from 20 years of use.
This information is info I recieved from the previous owner.
$3800.00
