Default FS: 1993 Turbo Corvette $12k MI

Up for sale is my ’93 Turbocharged Corvette. The car is Polo Green in color with black interior, 6 speed manual transmission, and a transparent tagara top. This is a great car and I wouldn’t hesitate to drive this car anywhere.

It has a custom turbo kit, aftermarket ECU, brakes, rims, and a bunch of other upgrades. The car is equipped with power door locks, keyless entry, power windows, power mirrors, Bose AM/FM/cassette Stereo, Power Seats, leather, cruise control, thermometer, ABS, and traction control. This car has a clean title.

I just dumped $3k into maintenance this winter including a new more efficient turbo, fixing and recoating of turbo pipes, new turbo orientated cam shaft, roller rockers, new hydraulic lifters, new valve stems, beehive valve spring, 2 new rear wheel bearings, rear brakes, ignition coil, IAC motor, and changing of the transmission and differential fluids. The car also has a new clutch about 5000 miles ago.

The mechanical stuff is great, the cosmetics are starting to show their age. The front and rear bumpers are starting to fade slightly and the car has a few chips and scratches. The interior is pretty good with the exception of a hole in the passenger seat. The only other issue is that the A/C had to be removed to fit the turbo kit.

I’m looking to get $12,000 for the car. Feel free to shoot me an email or call 507-269-6354. The car is located near Jackson, MI.

The engine was rebuilt about 15k ago, the transmission has 50k on it, and the body is about 100k, but the odometer reads 87k due to a replaced body controller.

I live nearby. If anyone is interested I will be happy to test drive it for them and check it out. Looks like a great chance to pick up a highly modded car for a good price.
Disclaimer; I know squat about turbocharging. PM me if you want me to look at it.

I'm hoping to get rid of it soon so I can get something with 4 doors. I just got married and there were two kids with the deal so now the vette isn't going to cut it anymore. If you are interested let me know and we can work on the price.

I don't have any dyno numbers. The car did manage a 12.5 @ 117 mph before I upgraded to the more efficient turbo and added the valve train upgrades. Oh and that was on street tires with my lousy 2.0 60' and granny shifting.

Using that trap speed and 3500# with me in it the online calculators put that around 500 crank hp before the upgrades.

I've never gotten around to putting it on a dyno. There aren't any close to here.
