WTT 1989 Camaro 1LE with race history for 92-96 C4 Conv.
Hello everyone,
I am interested in trading my 1989 Camaro 1LE optioned Camaro for a nice 1992-96 C4 convertible. This car is 1 of the 111 1LE optioned Camaros built in 1989 by Chevrolet. The 1LE option consisted of special rotors and Corvette aluminum PBR brakes all around, aluminum drive shaft and spare, N10 dual exhaust system, 3:45 gearing, and no A/C, or power options among other things. These cars were ordered primarily for the SCCA Showroom Stock series and the Canadian Players Challenge series. This car is one of the 35 that remained in the US, the rest went to Canada for the Players Challenge.
The car has 38K documented miles, has all the original sheet metal with VIN stickers and has one repaint. The roll cage required by SCCA was removed before I bought it and the decals were installed by me about a year ago to show the car in its "as raced" condition. The car is completely stock and with the removal of the race decals it looks like stock IROC. I have a binder full of documentation with the car including copies of the dealer invoice and photos of the car on the race track. This is a rare car with a race pedigree and no shadows in its past.
I am interested in a nice 1992-96 convertible as a trade. I do not have any preferences as to color, although unusual combinations are more interesting. I do not have a preference as to an auto or six speed. Please PM me as to what you have.
I can email photos to interested parties.
Thanks
Jason

Finder's fee for finding you a buyer? I know a guy who collects these things.

As a former 3rd gen 1LE owner, I'd love to see pics- especially of the interior. I special ordered the deluxe interior and power windows on my '92 so it looked a lot more like the normal Z-28.
