Very nice C4 convertible. I purchased the car about two months ago as a mid-life-crisis daily driver. I owned an 85 about 22 years ago in my early twenties and had always wanted to get another C4. I guess I didn't remember how the tight suspension makes for such a bumpy ride, especially the 19 mile track I make to work every day. Maybe age has something to do with. Anyway, I'm not really set-up(no garage) for a weekend car right now. I'd rather sell it now before the paint begins to fade and look for another one later.

Exterior
You should be able to see from the pictures that the car has been well maintained. The body and paint are in very good condition. There's two spots on the driver back top that are starting to fade. Other than that, the paint has very few nicks and looks really nice. The hard top isn't original but is in great shape. Paint is very good and head liner is excellent. The side glass weather stripping is cracked but no leaks. According to the ASC info on the top, it was installed on a 1993, production#110439, serial#8604, dated 2/16/93.

Interior
The carpet is in very good condition. The seats are average and the back rest's are in good condition. There is a small tear on the drivers side where you get in and out. The dash and door panels are in good condition. The driver side panel seems like it has a slight bow in the middle due to age and heat but looks good. The cruise control doesn't work. It has the Bose Gold am/fm, cd, cassette radio which currently doesn't work. The radio is fine but the receiver/preamp tuner needs to be rebuilt. The cost is $125, and I'll fix it with a good offer. The a/c blows nice and cold but it takes longer than it should for the air to blow out the front dash.

Engine/Tranny
I've been driving it daily, and it runs very good. As seen numerous times on the forum, the lt1 engine does have an oil leak in the front of the engine. I can't tell if its the intake, water pump, or crank seal but it's less than a quart between oil changes, so I haven't messed with it. Without a garage, I'm not about to start a DIY job on the seals. The transmission is fine.

The auto check came back clean. It looks like the car was originally sold in North Carolina. The first two owners put about 55k miles on the car, and the third owner had the car 7yrs and put 60k on it. The man I purchased the car from owned it one year and drove it 1k miles. I'm the 5th owner and have driven it 3k miles in two months. This may be too much information, but I know folks all over the country visit the website, so I wanted to disclose everything I'm aware of. The car would make a great daily driver or with a little sweat and $ a very nice one to pamper.

Interested in folks opinion on a fair price for this vehicle. Not in a hurry to sell but don't want to pay for advertising at wrong price. Any suggestions?

So, thread has over 500 views and price has been reduced from $10,500 to $8,500 and no comments. I know it's a tough market, but would really like some type of feedback. I can let it go for $7800, but someone please say something; way too much, car sucks, just keep it....etc. Thanks.

Co-winner 2020 C4 of the Year - Modified

Bump for a nice looking 95. I will take it and come pick it up for $2,000. Just kidding. I really think the price is quite reasonable at $7,800. Yeah it has 120,000 miles and needs a little attention, but what are you gonna do, keep lowering it until it's free? I'm not sure why nobody has replied yet, it looks pretty clean for the mileage, and the hardtop is a great selling point. Buyer's market....blah blah. Stick to your guns with the price. Someone will come along who knows how to tinker with cars, has a regular job, and wants a vette, who would rather buy a 7 thousand dollar car than a 60,000 dollar car. Good luck with the sale. And everyone knows that it's the best C4 color
