Default 1972 corvette trade

1972 Corvette project with a good start!

The period correct 350 engine (NOM) was professionally rebuilt by a highly regarded company in Shreveport, Louisiana. It comes with a 4spd transmission. The previous owner told me he installed a new clutch, pressure plate , throw out bearing and flywheel. The car went through a frame-off restoration start. The frame was actually replaced with one from a later model C3. So everything underneath looks nice. The frame and suspension work is complete! Many new parts. New control arms, starter, alternator, hoses and belts. It was originally an AC car so the vents are there but is missing the compressor, brackets, etc..

I have the bumpers and grilles. Bumpers are in good condition but should be re-chromed.

Needs fiberglass work, paint. Also could use new door panels, seat covers, and carpet. Needs complete exhaust system run.

I love these cars but I realized I'm not ready to do a project.
Will consider trades up or down. I'm asking $7,500 for the car.

Would you be interested in a trade up on a 96 GS?

I was asking $17k for it last year when I tried to sell. Its high mile (120k if I remember correctly) for a GS, but its a solid car with a clean title. You could daily drive it if you wanted or do some minor cosmetic projects and have a really nice weekend car.

Any interest in a truck?

184k miles, 5.4 liter, SCT programmer with bamachips tune, JLT intake, flowmaster catback, tan leather interior, 305/65R17 tires on 17x9 eagle wheels. Power driver seat, CD player, etc. Runs and drives great. The only thing I know of wrong with it is the pinion seal is leaking a little on the rear axle. Recently replaced the 4wd actuator, 02 sensors, and o-rings in the ac controller. Great truck. I'm asking $9,000 or serious offer. I may entertain trades up/down for a nice car (v8, rwd) prefer 4 door GM or Ford product.

Recently replaced all shocks (Rancho) and upper and lower ball joints on the front. It has the factory towing package and 3.73 gears. The rear is the heavy duty one (9.75" ring gear).

I've always run Mobile 1 synthetic oil since I bought the truck at around 80k miles in 07. The front and rear axles both have synthetic gear oil (royal purple).

It's a nice looking truck but would like something with less miles. Thanks for the offer!
