96 Collector Edition in North Jersey SOLD
I'm seriously considering selling my 96 Collector Edition. I purchased the car in March of this year from a forum member and have hardly used it. While it is a fun drive I don't think it is really my kind of car.
INFO:
1996 Collector Edition
Silver exterior, light grey and black interior.
Dual power fully adjustable seats.
Automatic trans.
79200 miles
Everything in working order.
Corsa exhaust
I am the fourth owner. First two owners in FL. Third owner South Carolina.
3.73 rear
Noticed some oil spotting on my gargae floor. Looks like from front of motor.
I would like to get $8000. I'm new at this and hope the link to my pics work.

If I did not have one, this one would be mine. 100% serious.

Miscellaneous information:
The car runs strong. Has some oil spotting. My estimate of the spotting 1 inch in diameter. the car sits for weeks without use. Overall condition is quite nice. You saw the paint chip picture? That's about it for the exterior. I have cleaned the carpeting and I consider the rear cargo area the weakest part. It's clean but not great. I have some pics from the previous owner plus some taken when I had a Carchex inspection done prior to my purchae.
Previous owner informed me that his friend replaced some seals on the front of the motor to fix a leak. Then again there is the timing cover gasket and oil pan gasket. I can't tell where it's coming from as of this moment. They did replace the opti while they were there but not because of any issues. I have the original part and am not happy with the Cardone part which was installed. I'll bet a replacement cap and rotor might yield a spare opti. I also have a replacement hatch weather strip seal as the one on the car has split at the corners where the fenders meet the halo. No leaks though and the rest of the weather stripping is in good shape. A Hypertech tuner is included as this corrected the change of the final drive ratio to keep the speedo correct. Also the service manual set goes with the car. I had all fluids changed with the exception of the trans and belts and hoses checked.
I have only one set of keys and it appears an aftermarket Viper alarm was installed at sometime in the past and the fob works locking and unlocking the doors. I was also informed a vats bypass was installed but I have not removed the hush panel to verify. The car was ordered with the spare tire delete option. I bought a jack and a repair kit to go with the package. I also have a folder with some repair receipts.
I'm trying to give a unvarnished representation of the car.
