1994 Admiral Blue 6 Speed
$11,500. 61k miles. Middle Tennessee.
I have owned this Vette for 2.5 years. I bought it from a dealer with 46,000 miles on it, and have added approx. 16,000 miles since then. This forum has saved my bacon on numerous occasions, including the Optispark, digital ac control, rear view mirrors, clutch master and slave cylinder replacement and reversing light switch to name a few.
The prior owners added most of the mods, including the Corsa cat-back exhaust, SLP cold air intake, short throw shifter and the C5 Z06 brake and wheel conversion. They also added splash guards and replaced the original radio with a single-din unit and the necessary amplifier upgrade as well as brighter halogen headlight bulbs. This was somebody's baby and hangar queen and I think I have maintained and improved upon its condition.
Since I purchased it I have added the Sony double-din hi-fi system which is awesome. I put Continental Extreme Contact tires on it two years ago.
I put in new gas tailgate supports, as well as new weather stripping for the doors and rear hatch and a new luggage shade. I also added the black carpets to accent the door panels. Overall it is in excellent condition and defies it's age. One gentleman even confused it with a brand new model recently at a Home Depot parking lot. The paint is fantastic for an almost 20 year old car, although it does have some very, very minor paint chips and scratches commensurate with its age. If you think the photos are good, it's even better in the flesh!
There are no other mods as far as I know. I had the PKE repaired by the lady who was part of the original PKE design team. It has worked beautifully since. It is a beautiful car and the only reason I am selling it is to be able to buy a C5 Z06.
Thanks for looking,
Andrew

Beautiful C4 - Remain Patient
Very fine looking C4! I just sold my '87 Convertible after owning it for 13 years. It was very similar to yours in many respects. My advice is to remain patient. The right buyer will come along. The fellow who bought mine had looked at multiple Corvettes that were all beat, overpriced, and undesirable. Yours is a gem. You are correct about the low ballers on the forum. Mine sold through Craigslist. I had many fine photos and a video along with good ad copy. You are there with your ad's presentation. It may be tough because you seem emotionally charged over the C5 Z06. I am in the process of a divorce so I was not anxious to get into a C5 like you. I certainly can emphasize with your enthusiasm for the Z06. They do run like a horse that just got stung by a bee.
The next owner will be getting a fine C4. For the asking price, the value is incredible. It will happen, but maybe not as quickly as you hope. Mine was bought by a retired state police officer. Yours would be a great find for a retired person too. I refused to even show mine to young prospects. They just want to drive one and I was not going to watch my fine C4 get destroyed. Just me though.
Best of luck.

I'm not b/s ing at all. I had never driven a V8, and compared to the mundane vehicles I had driven the LT1 is totally different. Way more engine noise and I thought vibration. That's why I took it to a recommended expert. He kept the car for a few days, put a different set of wheels on it and drove it throughout the entire rev range and said it was normal.
You are welcome to come try it yourself,
It's also been confirmed normal by another local mechanic who owns and works on C4s.

Congratulations on the sale. (although as late as this weekend we were still talking about coming down to look at it) It looks like it is a very nice car. Thanks for all the pictures.
Good luck finding your C5. They are fun too. I like mine.
