Transmission - Automatic

Exterior / Interior - Original paint Dark Blue Metallic with Saddle Leather Interior, and rear spoiler from first owner. Has original solid top and Blue tinted top as well, but tinted top has a large crack in the glass. Fixable. Seats are original sport seats (need some of electronic controls repaired), leather is cracking but not too bad. Have them covered with Iggee custom seat covers in black.

Mods - Full exhaust with stock manifolds lightly ported and Ceramic coated, front stainless steel pipe, New Magnaflow cat, Corvette Central New Stock Exhaust. Brand new Master cylinder, calipers and pads all around, Slotted and drilled rotors, new brake hoses. KYB Struts all around, have brand new upper and lower front ball joints. Needs emergency brake fixed. New front spoiler. Have all receipts for this car.
Description: 1988 Corvette coupe, 3rd owner. Last owner purchased the car about 9 years ago from original owner with 33k on the car. Currently has 80k + on it. Rear hatch cable is broken but can be opened using the attached cable in the back. Car starts and runs perfectly, just needs some light TLC in the interior. Folder with all Receipts available. Engine/Drivetrain Modifications: Full Exhaust, lightly ported and ceramic coated factory manifolds, Stainless steel catless Y pipe to a new Magnaflow cat, to a New Stock Corvette Central Exhaust.
Transmission has new seals, pump, and torque converter. Suspension Modifications: KYB shocks. Wheels/Tires Modifications: did front hub bearings, has mid 1990's machined Sawblades with new Cooper all Season tires 275/40R17 all around. Also have a set of 1988 Cuisinarts in storage which goes with the sale of this car. Interior/Exterior Modifications: new Corvette emblem Chrome/black, car came with rear tint and rear wing from original owner. new front lower spoiler, Headlight motors were refurbished and work, Also have original optional glass roof but it's cracked. Have new stereo installed, with 6x9 speakers in the rear and 6.5" in doors. New floor mats.
This is a really nice and very pretty car. Interior needs some work, but not much, mostly front dash plastic. Carpeting is in good shape. Some cracking on the drivers side mirror, but not overly noticeable unless you're up close to it. Adult owned and driven, non smoker. Needs emergency brake repaired. Just had a new water pump and thermostat put in as well as a new battery and alternator. Needs ABS pump replaced, which I have. The car is at Paul's Auto in Cranbury, NJ if you want to pop by and look at it. Just contact me and I'll alert them.

Please note that I recently took off the simulated woodgrain, which explains the front dash plastic being necessary to replace. I just don't have pictures of it right now.

Bump, still for sale. All it needs is the antilock brake pump replaced (which I have) and the emergency brake fixed. Otherwise runs great!

I'm in the process of getting the ABS pump put in and the emergency brake repaired. If someone wants to buy it from me as is I will make a good deal, $4000 plus. If no one buys it before I fix everything the price will be going back up. Sorry, but I need to recoup something

Just have to find the right buyer. There was a guy that lives down the street from me with a 94 6 spd had 80k miles took him almost a year to sell it!! he started at $8000 and ended up getting $4500 for it. I have seen pretty beat up ones sell for more than that. His was clean as hell. Its all in the guy in area looking for one. I would hold firm on that price. Free bump for a what looks to be a good car!!

I'm 21, attending New Jersey City University and have been longing to own a vette since age 4 when I first learned what one was haha! I've always owned v8 muscle cars, but have not gotten to that vette yet. Actually I lied, I did have a 4 cylinder car most recently but wait! It was a 1972 Opel GT, loved the car and did lot's of work to it but it just didnt give me that v8 vette rumble that we all love. A c4 I think is a good area to start with in the corvette world, and I really like the 86-89 vettes they catch my eye the most. 88 Woody I'd like to come check it out whenever you are available, I live in Neptune NJ, probably about 30-45 minutes away from you.

An Opel! I remember those cars but haven't seen one in ages. I had a friend who owned one in HS.

Anyway, you're welcome to come see it. I'm having it worked on now so I'll find out tomorrow when my mechanic thinks it'll be done and I'll let you know.

Oh awesome!! One less thing I'll have to do haha. The car really looks to be in excellent shape, just what I'm looking for. I've been shopping around on craigslist and sites like that, some of these people are nuts they want $12,000 for their crossfire injection 84 corvette with 112 thousand miles that also needs paint and interior work. Nuts, but just by the pictures I can tell that you took really good care of the car the way it should have been taken care of and are asking a fair price. I am looking forward to checking it out.
