SOLD. SOLD. SOLD. This beautiful 1992 Corvette has an automatic transmission with the optional 3.07 high performance ratio rear end. It is in excellent condition inside, outside, mechanically, electronically, etc. As far as I know, everything works as it should, with no problems noticed anywhere. With just over 57000 miles the car has a lot of miles left in it.
The car is completely stock, with 3 exceptions.
It has chrome C5 size Z06 style wheels on it with new Continental Extreme Contact DWS tires.
I put a Kenwood KDX x596 stereo, new speakers and wires, and an Alpine 4 channel, 45 watts per channel amplifier in it. The amplifier is about 7 X 2 X 2 inches and is mounted behind the passenger seat, so the area behind the seats is still available for storage.
I replaced the original headlights with HID projector headlights. They are 5000K, 55 watt lights that put out a tremendous amount of light at night, without blinding oncoming drivers..
The car runs and drives excellently with no codes or check engine light. It is very quiet and does not squeak or rattle. The interior is in excellent condition, with only the smallest amount of wear showing on the drivers seat.
The Carfax shows the car has not been in any accidents. The title is clear and the car is clean.
I bought the car in March, 2011 with 49000 miles on it. Since then maintenance has included new fuel injectors, ceramic brake pads, rear hatch and hood support struts, battery, coolant, waterpump, serpentine belt, radiator hoses, etc.
I am only considering selling as I have a supercharged 1991 coupe and a 2002 Z06 and do not need 3 Corvettes.
