Default 1996 LT-4 Coupe

NEW PRICE!! I can't believe the old price was the problem, but here goes -

1996 LT-4 Coupe. 6-speed. 94k miles. Cold air. Pretty good paint. GS 17" rims - 9 1/2 and 11" width. Z51 springs. Rear wheel bearings replaced.
All fluids (trans and rear end) changed in the past 18 months.
Stock inside and out except as noted. Current Texas inspection sticker. Bose stereo.
Motor has been dyno-tuned. Cooling fans re-set to come on at 180.
Roll bar. 5 point harnesses - driver and passenger. Also stock seat belts,
Suspension has been sorted and setup for auto-cross/track days.
Car has been used at track days with no problems except for driver-initiated ones. Good handling, dependable car.
Has also been driven to Eureka Springs meet several times - 800+ miles (r/t), 75+mph, 28mpg.
Car has minor problems, but is a nice handling, fast, competitive autocross car. And really fun on the street.

Located in Arlington, Tx.

$8500.00
Pretty firm on this price. If it gets no interest, I'll probably keep it.

Thanks,
walt zschirnt

I tried to put pics in here, but keeps getting rejected. Not too big (640x480). If Admin can help, thanks. In the meantime, send me an e-mail and I'll send them.

Hi,
Being an old fool, I had this ad posted 2 times (I deleted the other one a few minutes ago). I answered your same question in the other thread a few weeks ago, but here it is again -

------------------------------

"Originally Posted by sahhas View Post

nice looking car....."

-Cruise doesn't engage.
-ASR light is on. ASR doesn't engage.
-'Normal for a 96' vent problems. Blows on feet until it decides to blow out the dash vents. Feet get nice and cold!
- One headlight gear makes noise. Already fixed (replaced the gear) the other one. Both lights go up and down fine. Note the "New inspection sticker" in the ad.

Nothing major. Just annoying to me.

---------------

Thanks for looking.

I'm also selling my LT4 in the same area! I can tell you how to fix the air if you're interested. It's virtually free.
And my ASR is dead, but it's the EBTCM. I could help you troubleshoot it!

I'm pretty sure I know how to fix the a/c problem, but haven'tried to get at the control unit on the firewall under the dash yet. If there is another fix you know of, I'm all ears!

I done some diags on the ASR - checking voltage at the ASR unit behind the seat, but haven't tried to clean the sensors at the wheels or any of the easy stuff.
Also, I bought a 93 convertible a few weeks ago and that has its own set of issues that are taking up my time!

If someone buys your 96, see if they want 2 of them!! LOL

Still have it. Drove it yesterday. Runs great and looks good.

Hi,
I really would like to sell this car. 2 Vettes in the drive and one in the garage - neighbors think I have a used Corvette lot here. Well, actually .... :-) .

Thanks for looking.

Are the stripes painted or vinyl? Looks painted to me, but my eyes aren't as great as they used to be haha.
