Being the sometimes smartazz that I am, I just had to post this off the Indy Craiglist. Its a vette so its gotta be worth a bunch, right? notice, it states "firm". I just noticed, the wheels are on backwards.

Wow! I agree, that thing is definitely ROUGH! With the condition and the knocking motor, nobody is going to resurrect that car. Good parts car though.....but definitely not at that price.

Burning Brakes
This week, I had a chance to buy a 1996 in the same condition for $1400, and walked.
I started thinking about restoration costs....and decided it would be a money pit. Also it had 130,000 miles.
It would be cheaper in the long run to buy a decent one to begin with.
Carpet $500
Weatherstripping $500
Seats $1000
Paint $1000 for materials
Wheels and tires $1500
Fuel pump and sending unit $$125 used
And then there's the rest of the interior, Glove box, Dash pad, broken plastic pieces ect.
Sad, but true. Not worth saving all of them.
