One Owner 1994 Polo Green 6 speed
SOLD - PLEASE IGNORE.
My father, who bought this car brand new in 1994, has fallen ill with heart conditions and a stroke. This was his baby, but we need money for medical expenses and on-going care - not to mention that he hasn't driven it much at all over the past decade or so - it has 67,500 original miles on it as it sits in my garage. It has lived in a South Carolina garage under a cover for all of its life.
The car is Polo Green over tan with the 300 HP LT-1 and a proper six speed manual transmission. This is a low-option car (tape deck!). A/C, power windows, cruise control all work as you'd expect. In order to freshen it up out of storage, I replaced the gasoline, cleaned the injectors, replaced the oil and filter, fuel filter, air filter, ignition wires, spark plugs, serpentine belt, and flushed the cooling system. Those last parts were done by Jamison's Corvette here in Charleston who gave it a clean bill of health - except he told me I need to "drive it more". Clean, South Carolina title in hand, along with the original window sticker, bill or sale and every oil change and tire rotation it has ever had since 1994.
Included in the price are four brand new 315 ZR 17 BFG Comp T/A (fit the rear only) tires that he got as factory "Blems" from Michelin where he worked for 40 years. $9,995 or best legitimate cash offer - steve.b.hays@gmail.com or call/text eight four three, five sixty-six, thirty-six twenty-five. I'm in Mount Pleasant, SC (near Charleston).
>> Edited for new price NOV 11, plus additional 50-100 miles, I drove it to work a few times, plus a video clip for an interested party who backed out. If it goes much below this, I'll just drive it into the ocean.

Summer is actually too late. Jan-march is the hottest time for sports cars and convertibles. Like the Used car Manager I worked for used to say "People buy their air conditioners in the winter. By the time summer rolls around the market drops.

Nice looking Vette and the Price is Right
Nice looking Polo Green vette. I own one myself and your price is right on. Sorry to hear about your dad.

As mentioned, price is negotiable, but that means the buyer should have a look / test drive / ask a bunch of questions if remote and then make a legitimate offer and we negotiate. You would never go look at a house for sale and just ask "what is your bottom dollar?", you'd put down earnest money and make an offer. If the offer is insultingly low (like the guy who offered me $5000 cash) then the seller will tell you to get bent.

Price lowered for final time. Also note that I will be willing to drive some distance (up to 300 miles) to meet buyer once deposit is made. If the car does not meet the descriptions I have provided, I will refund the money.
