As noted in the ZR-1 Discussions section, Warp Ten won its class for the third year in a row at the Libertyville (IL) Chevy Father's day Chevy/Corvette show. Up against a pristine 88 35th anniversary and a nice GS among others. Not exactly Pebble Beach but fun to win anyway. Only C4 ZR-1 there out of a couple hundred cars; same with Saturday's eclectic Lake Bluff Village Green show (unjudged). ZR-1s are pretty rare. Note that my trophy case is on top of the garage refrigerator due wife's directive. Surprised she lets me keep them there at all --Bob

I was able to see this Z in person today at a cars & coffee event held by a Chicagoland Chevrolet dealer. This car looked great! Pride of ownership was obvious. Sorry I did not get to speak to you Bob, just stopped in for a short time and had to keep going about my day. Good luck with the sale.

Thanks for the kind words Tommy. Sorry I didn't get to meet you. I was inside for about an hour talking with old friend and former ZR-1 owner (7!) Tony Gaples who now races Camaros under his Black Dog Speed Shop Banner. FYI Friday July 17 is an afternoon/evening show at Knauz Autopark which I will be at and then the Lake Forest Market Square show Thursday July 23 4-7pm which Black Dog also sponsors. Weather permitting of course--Bob

Didn't see you at the Lake Forest show but it was a great day and turnout. Tony G was there with the Black Dog Racing crew as he is a sponsor of the show. Another show in the Chicagoland area is next Sunday August 2 at Bill Kay Chevrolet's Corvette Center on Ogden Ave in Lisle. I plan to be there but not as an exhibitor. A couple of pix of the LF Market Square Show & Concert: --Bob

As noted in the first post in this thread, I do need to sell my '95 ZR-1. I will respond to and seriously consider any reasonable offer. If you were interested before but thought it too high, and still have an interest now, let me know what you believe it is worth. You may find yourself with a surprisingly good deal --Bob
